ADDITIONAL COVID-19 PROCEDURES
During Covid-19 the following additional cleaning is to be completed by therapists:
Items to be disinfected between every appointment in treatment rooms by therapists:
Items to be disinfected around the clinic between treatments by therapists:
Reception
Bathroom – if used by client or therapist
Kitchen – if used by therapist
Items to be disinfected before and after every shift by therapists:
In addition to those items to be disinfected between appointments:
After every shift-
Treatment room floor to be swept (if required) but must be mopped.
Final bathroom, kitchen, reception clean (at least one area per therapist until they are all disinfected)
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
NO CASH IF POSSIBLE – Hicaps and card payments preferred

Items to be disinfected between every appointment in treatment rooms by therapists:
- Light switch
- AC control
- Door handles
- Lever for head piece
- Face hole and arm rest on table
- Oil bottle or any cream container that has been handled
- All surfaces including where clients leave personal belongings and client seating area
- Therapist desk area (includes keyboard, laptop, pens)
- Cupboards that have been opened and closed for towels, needles etc during treatment
- Treatment stool (especially underneath where hands have been used to manouvre the stool)
- Clipboards if clients have completed a new History and Consent Form
- Top of paper towel holder
- And use a new dish and stick for creams for each client
Items to be disinfected around the clinic between treatments by therapists:
Reception
- all desk area
- keyboard
- mouse
- pens if used
- stapler if used
- eftpos/ Hicaps machine
- door handles
- seats
- internal and external door handles on front entrance door and hallway
- drawer handles
- arms of reception chair
Bathroom – if used by client or therapist
- door handles
- tap handles
- sink and surrounds,
- toilet button and seat,
- top of paper towel holder
Kitchen – if used by therapist
- all items used
Items to be disinfected before and after every shift by therapists:
In addition to those items to be disinfected between appointments:
- Phone in rooms
- Any music source – CD player, Ipod etc
After every shift-
Treatment room floor to be swept (if required) but must be mopped.
Final bathroom, kitchen, reception clean (at least one area per therapist until they are all disinfected)
