Sebastian Scamporlino
Myotherapist/Remedial Massage Therapist
Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage
Sebastian is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Myotherapist, currently completing his third year of an Osteopathy degree at Victoria University. He takes a hands-on, evidence-based approach, helping clients reduce pain, move more freely, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Having undergone a hip replacement in 2020, Sebastian gained firsthand insight into the rehabilitation process. This experience informs his empathetic, personalised approach, allowing him to tailor treatments to each client’s goals, whether recovering from injury, improving mobility, enhancing performance, or simply feeling better in daily life.
In the clinic, Sebastian uses a combination of direct (firmer) and indirect (gentler) myotherapy techniques to support recovery. Direct methods, including dry needling, myofascial release, and targeted deep tissue massage, address areas of pain, tension, and dysfunction, while gentler approaches—such as cupping, muscle energy techniques, and strain counter strain- help the body relax, restore movement, and heal naturally.
He places strong emphasis on mobility and strength as foundations for long-term health, incorporating corrective exercises to maintain progress, build resilience, and reduce the risk of re-injury.
Sebastian is available for treatments Tuesday afternoons and Sundays. On the spot claims are available for most major health funds.
